Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Two (2) years' advanced education (Associate's degree) in accounting, finance, or business
- One (1) year's office experience
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Duties: This part-time position (estimated 30 hours per week) is located in the Special Projects Department. The department is responsible for a wide variety of projects including: propane tank management, cell phones, customer gain-and-loss reports, and creating and maintaining Corporate accounts, as well as many other special initiatives. Specific assignments could include, but are not limited to, helping with the monthly customer gain-and-loss numbers, preparing customer exit surveys, propane tank monthly accounting, and assisting with the management of Corporate purchasing accounts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to multi-task, work effectively with and communicate with a wide range of individuals, work independently with minimal supervision, follow established policies and procedures, and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Excellent organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills are required. Exceptional customer-service skills are required.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications required.
Compensation: The successful candidate’s starting salary will be dependent upon education and experience applicable to this position; this position’s minimum hourly wage is $12/hour. This part-time position is not eligible for Company benefits.
